Dean Zeineldin is passionate about science and nanobiotechnology. “I enjoy seeing the application of science to diagnosing and curing diseases. ” Her research focuses on the applying nanotechnology for diagnosis and therapy of diseases and on understanding ovarian cancer progression.

Zeineldin is the editorĀ of Cancer Nanotechnology. Methods in Molecular Biology. 2017; v.1530. Springer, New York, and was issued a U.S. Patent on January 3, 2017 for her invention on “Intraperitoneally -Administered Nanocarriers that Release their Therapeutic Load Based on the Inflammatory Environment of Cancers”

Dean Zeineldin lists among her career highlights, being chosen for the 2012 Teacher of the Year Recognition, awarded by American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and receiving the 2007 Minority-Serving Institution Faculty Scholar in Cancer Research Award from the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR).

She is a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) and a founding member of NanoWorcester and has been appointed to a two-year term as a member of the Board of Directors for Better Oral Health for Massachusetts Coalition.
