Kirsten Bergstrom is a board certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She provides general and urgent health care to individual students at The Center for Wellness Services. She supervises clinic-based services, and assists the Director to develop and implement services meeting student’s health care needs and resources. She also assists with development, implementation, and assessment of preventive programs on campus.
Kirsten began her career in College Health at Mount Ida College in 2000 after receiving her M.S. in Nursing at Boston College. After six years, she went to Lasell College to continue practicing as a Nurse Practitioner. She returned to Mount Ida in 2013 as the Clinical Coordinator in Health Services. During the summer Kirsten manages the Health Center at Everwood Day Camp and is the Health Care Consultant for Lesley University’s Artists in Residency Program.
I enjoy interacting one on one with students to help them maintain their health and well-being. Through this relationship, I can encourage students to be empowered to take an active role in their healthcare plans and decisions.
