Assistant Athletic Trainer/ Equipment Manager
Katy Annunziata, ATC, was named the Head Athletic Trainer in May of 2016 and has been with Mount Ida College since the fall of 2012.
She took over the position of Interim Head Athletic Trainer in January of 2016 after serving as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the past four and a half years.
In 2017, Annunziata was selected by her peers as Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Athletic Trainer of the Year.
Annunziata is is a licensed and certified Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification and a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association. She is also First Aid and CPR certified by the American Heart Association. Annunziata is also certified as a National Academy of Sports Medicine Performance Enhancement Specialist.
Annunziata came to the Mustangs from The University of Pennsylvania-Fayette athletic department in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Annunziata was the primary Athletic Trainer for golf, volleyball, cross country, basketball, baseball, and softball.
Annunziata graduated from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2009 where she was also a student athletic trainer. She went on to graduate from California University of Pennsylvania in California, Pennsylvania in May 2011 with a Master’s of Science in Athletic Training.
