Isaac Stahl

Head Women's Tennis Coach

After a stint here as an assistant tennis coach in 2012, Isaac Stahl returned to Mount Ida College in 2014, and has served as the head women’s tennis coach since then.

No stranger to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), Stahl spent five years as the Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach at Suffolk University in Boston, beginning in the fall of 2005.While there, he carried the Rams to GNAC titles in 2007, 2009 and 2010 and was named the GNAC Coach of the Year in 2009. At Suffolk, he was responsible for teaching and supporting not only his player’s tennis skills, but their life skills, and he worked to develop successful behaviors on and off the court for his student-athletes. He was also in charge of directing transportation, recruitment and fundraising for the Rams.

“Isaac was a natural choice to come lead the women’s tennis program here at Mount Ida,” said Burke. “Not only is he familiar with our school, he knows the pulse of small college women’s tennis in Boston, and he is enthusiastic about putting in the time and effort here to take this program to the next level.”

A double graduate of Suffolk University, Stahl received his MBA in organizational behavior concentration in 2010 after graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts in English in 2005. As an undergraduate, Stahl, was a four-year member of the Rams varsity tennis team, and was named captain in his senior year. His accolades at Suffolk included department awards for Dedication, Most Improved Player, and the Coach’s Award.
