Dakin Burdick has worked in faculty development since 2000 and has been the Director of the Center for Curricular Innovation & Teaching Effectiveness (CITE) since 2015. Before he came to Mount Ida, he was Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence at Endicott College, and he began his career at Indiana University-Bloomington. He has served on the Board of Directors for the POD Network. As the POD Historian, he was responsible for digitalizing their Archives . He is currently the President of the New England Faculty Development Consortium. He teaches in the fields of History, Higher Education, and Homeland Security.
