This day of service offers the newest class an opportunity to experience community engagement firsthand before the Fall Semester begins.
Organizations are encouraged to engage with a community partner that aligns with the mission and vision of their organization.
Students will be active citizens who frequently participate in civic engagement activities that have a positive impact on society; whether at a local, state, national, and/or international level.

Mustang Service Breaks
The Mustang Service Break program seeks to match students’ interest with community-identified needs by engaging with their peers and communities on a local, regional and national level. Students will learn from others about the social needs they face and their perspective on these issues, explore how their interests and vocational skills can be used to serve the public good, and serve communities as part of various community-based projects.
