Interactive Media & Web Development
Bachelor of Science

Learn how to design for tomorrow, from today's experts.

Professor watching students

Mount Ida’s Interactive Media and Web Development program is focused on the relationship of form and function, but unlike other disciplines, interactive designers explore the way in which behaviors connect people through the products they use.

Learn from industry professionals who not only teach, but also create every day.

Preparation for the real world.

Interactive media and web development is the process of creating digital media that is an effective, memorable, and a rewarding user experience. The Interactive Media and Web Development curriculum is founded on gathering strong communications skills and interdisciplinary knowledge, where students learn the best practices of JavaScript, create interactive web design in HTML and learn about UI/UX responsive design. Included in the program are courses on mobile web design, interactive scripting, 3D modeling, digital photography and more. Internships round out the program and help to launch careers by offering real-world experience, equipping students the ability to create interactive media for the future.

For details about the curriculum, the complete course listing, specific program requirements and expected learning outcomes please refer to the Interactive Media and Web Development degree program in our College Catalog.
