Business administration courses provide you with first-hand experience in core business skills such as research, writing business and marketing plans, utilizing analytical tools, public speaking, strategy, and working on collaborative teams. Students have ample opportunities to apply skills both individually and in teams through in-class exercises, case analyses and internships guided by our industry-expert faculty. The Greater Boston area supports a wide range of fulfilling internship experiences in small-, medium- and large-sized businesses and not-for-profits, offering you practical networking opportunities in an array of fields. Business Administration majors are required to complete a capstone project as students run a simulated business for eight weeks in a head-to-head competition against other class members and other colleges and universities around the world.

Life after Graduation.
A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mount Ida can lead directly to employment in almost any industry. Close to 100% of our Business Administration majors find jobs in their field within a year of graduation. Others continue their studies by seeking a Master of Business Administration or other graduate business degree, including Mount Ida’s very own Combined Bachelor Degree to Master of Science in Management (MSM) program. Our 4+1 option allows students to earn both an undergraduate and MSM degree in five years by starting graduate courses in the senior year.

Tuition Fees and Aid
Resident Students, 2017-2018 tuition, fees, room & board (before aid is deducted) is $49,400.
Commuter Students, 2017-2018 tuition and fees (before aid is deducted) is $35,720.

*Students enrolling in the Veterinary Technology, Design and Dental Programs (excluding Pre Dental Hygiene and Degree completion) should add $1,700 for expected program expenses.
As part of our commitment to making college affordable, Mount Ida College has increased the aid we award from $12 million in 2012 to over $20 million in 2017. All new students entering in Fall 2018 are expected to receive some type of merit award, with most awards anticipated to be between $15,000 – $27,000 per year – and that’s before we award need-based aid.
