First-Time International Students Admission Application

You are considered a first-time international student if you have finished your high school/secondary education and do NOT hold U.S citizenship including green card. We consider all students no matter their immigration status.

Feel free to e-mail the Office of Admissions at internationaladmissions@mountida.edu or call (617) 928-4553.

Submit either our own online application, add us to the Common Application, or print and mail the application. There is NO application fee for any option.

Official transcripts sent from your high school(s) directly to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. See score requirements in the table below. English language proficiency scores such as TOEFL or IELTS, etc. If you are an international student from the Commonwealth Caribbean, Bermuda, Canada, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Australia or New Zealand, you do not need to submit proof of English language proficiency.

We strongly recommend applicants submit at least one letter of recommendation.

A portfolio submission is required for students applying for some programs. You can find instructions, requirements, and submit your portfolio by clicking below. Please note that we encourage students to send transcripts and other application documents as soon as possible as applicants who complete the rest of their admissions file can be conditionally admitted pending review of their portfolio.
