Minors Can Broaden Your Academic Experience

Total credit requirements: 18 credits

4 Required courses/12 Required credits

  • LG 101 – Introduction to Law 3 credits
  • LG 220 – Constitutional Law: Rights, Liberties and Justice 3 credits
  • BA 201 – Business Law 3 credits or  CJ 115 – Criminal Law 3 credits (you must take one – the other may serve as elective)
  • PO 102 – American Government 3 credits  or LG 221 – Constitutional Law: Institutional Powers and Constraints 3 credits (you must take one – the other may serve as elective)

Electives (6 credits)

Choose any two of the following courses (all 3 credits):

  • CJ 115 – Criminal Law 3 credits or BA 201 – Business Law 3 credits (whichever is not already taken to fulfill the minor)
  • CJ 250 – Interviewing and Writing in Justice Professions
  • CJ 325 – Criminal Procedure
  • PO 102 – American Government 3 credits  or LG 221 – Constitutional Law: Institutional Powers and Constraints 3 credits (whicheverr is not already taken to fulfill the minor)
  • PO 312 – Public Policy
