Mount Ida College and American Society of Interior Designers New England Announce Exciting Grad Program Partnership

Mount Ida College and the American Society of Interior Designers New England (ASID NE) announced today an exciting new collaboration. ASID NE members, which includes interior design professionals and students, will now be eligible for a significant tuition discount for the Mount Ida’s Master’s of Science in Management – Interior Architecture (MSM-IA) program. The partnership between the College and ASID NE will encourage more designers to continue their education by pursing this interdisciplinary master’s degree.

Professor Stephanie McGoldrick, explains that the MSM-IA program “concentrates on relevant design topics such as universal design and environmental sustainability. We encourage students to explore innovative methods for tackling challenges they will encounter in the profession” In addition to exposing students to contemporary design issues, the program provides interior design and architecture professionals with key management and design skills required to be leaders in their industry.

Focusing on current design issues, marketing techniques and mastering strategic planning skills are all included in this unique graduate program”.

The MSM-IA program is an interdisciplinary program where students take courses in the School of Business and School of Design, focusing on providing design students with a career-focused, innovative, and experiential education. ASID NE is a community of designers, industry representatives, educators, and students who believe that design impacts lives. The society has more than 25,000 members nationally and provides professional development opportunities, advocacy, and research on the design sector for the benefit of its members.
